Privacy Policy
When you plan or book a trip with Sawari, we use information to arrange services and support your journey. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, and the choices you may have.
Last updated: October 2026Information we collect
Depending on the service, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing details, booking reference, itinerary, passenger or guest names, dates of birth, travel preferences, and messages you send to our team. A provider may require passport, national ID, visa, or other travel-document details to issue a ticket or meet destination requirements.
We may receive payment status, transaction reference, amount, currency, payment method, and limited card information needed to identify a payment. For Sawari payment-link transactions, full card numbers and security codes are not stored by us; limited details such as the card’s last four digits and selected payment method may be retained with the transaction record.
When you browse our website, technical information may be collected, such as your browser and device type, language, approximate location based on network information, pages visited, and the time of access. We may also receive booking or service information from an airline, hotel, tour operator, payment provider, or other partner involved in your request.
Information needed for different travel services
The type of information needed depends on the service. An airline may require a passenger’s full name, date of birth, nationality, travel-document details, and contact information to issue a ticket or meet security and check-in requirements. A hotel may need guest names, arrival time, occupancy information, or a payment guarantee. A tour or transport operator may need a meeting point, passenger count, age category, mobility request, or emergency contact. We do not assume that every field is needed for every booking.
If you ask us to arrange travel insurance, the insurer or authorized distributor may request information about the proposed insured person, journey dates, destination, and selected cover. Health or claim details should be supplied only through the process specified by the insurer. Sawari does not make a coverage decision merely because it receives a request or forwards information to an insurer.
For an eSIM or similar digital service, the provider may need the destination, device compatibility details, email address, and delivery or activation information. We do not need access to the contents of your device to arrange a purchase. Follow the provider’s instructions for installation and activation and avoid sharing a QR code or activation credential publicly, because someone else may be able to use it.
You can ask why a field is requested before providing it. If a required item is not supplied, the provider may be unable to confirm, issue, or deliver the service. Where practical, we will explain the need and identify whether the field is optional or mandatory for the booking flow.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, check availability, submit and manage booking requests, issue or deliver travel documents, communicate important changes, process or reconcile payments, provide customer support, investigate complaints, and meet accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
We may use technical and usage information to operate and secure the website, prevent misuse, diagnose errors, understand which pages are useful, and improve our services. Where practical, reports used for service analysis are aggregated or de-identified.
We may send service messages needed for a search, booking, payment, or support request. Where permitted, we may also send marketing messages about travel offers. You can opt out using the unsubscribe method in a message or by contacting us; opting out does not stop essential booking communications.
How booking context affects information use
We use information in the context in which it was supplied. Details submitted to request a flight are used to check availability, communicate with the airline or booking partner, issue the ticket, and provide related support. A support message may be linked to the reservation so we can understand the question and respond. Information supplied for a hotel or activity is used for that particular reservation and any related contact with the provider.
Some information is needed to perform the service you request, such as the passenger name needed to issue a ticket. Other information may be requested to meet legal, security, or accounting requirements. If we ask for information that is optional, we will indicate that when practical. Choosing not to provide optional information should not prevent you from using unrelated parts of the website, although it may prevent a specific feature from working.
If you contact us without making a booking, we use the details in your message to answer the enquiry and maintain a record of the interaction where reasonably necessary. If the enquiry later becomes a booking, we may associate the conversation with the booking so our team can understand what was discussed. Please avoid including sensitive details in an initial enquiry unless they are needed to answer your question.
We do not use booking information to make an unrelated decision about you simply because the information is available to us. A new purpose may require an additional notice, consent, or other legal basis depending on the circumstances and the law that applies.
Who may receive your information
To fulfill a booking or respond to your request, we share relevant details with the provider supplying the service, such as an airline, hotel, tour or transport operator, insurer, eSIM provider, or booking intermediary. The provider may use the information under its own privacy notice and may ask you for additional details directly.
We may also share information with service providers who help us run our business, including payment processors, hosting and IT providers, customer-support tools, email or messaging services, and professional advisers. They may process information for us under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law or a lawful authority, to protect people or our rights, to investigate suspected fraud or security incidents, or in connection with a transfer or restructuring of our business. We share only information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose and do not sell personal information for money.
Travel providers and their own privacy practices
When a booking is passed to an airline, hotel, tour operator, transport company, insurer, or eSIM provider, that organization needs relevant information to perform its service. The provider may use it to manage the reservation, verify identity, communicate schedule changes, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, or provide support. A provider may act independently of Sawari and determine its own purposes and retention periods.
A booking intermediary or distribution partner may also receive the information needed to search inventory, submit the booking request, collect payment, issue a document, or support a change. The confirmation or checkout should identify the relevant provider or partner where that information is available. If you are redirected to a partner’s site, review its privacy notice before entering details there, because its practices may differ from ours.
We aim to share only the information reasonably needed for the selected service. For example, a tour operator may need the names and ages of participants but not unrelated payment history. The precise data required can depend on the destination, the provider’s systems, and legal requirements. If a provider asks for additional information after booking, ask it why the details are required and how to submit them securely.
If a provider contacts you about a reservation, verify that the request relates to the correct booking before responding. Sawari cannot control messages sent from a provider’s own systems, but we can help you confirm which organization is responsible for a service when the confirmation is unclear.
Service processors and external websites
Some service providers process information on Sawari’s behalf to perform a defined task, such as hosting the website, delivering a booking email, supporting customer enquiries, or processing a payment. Those providers may access information needed for that task and are expected to protect it under the arrangements that apply to them. A provider that supplies the travel service itself is usually a separate organization and may determine its own purposes and methods of use.
Our website or messages may contain a link to an airline, hotel, insurer, payment processor, government authority, or other external website. When you follow that link, the other organization’s privacy and cookie notices apply to its website and services. Sawari does not control an external website’s content, security, or privacy practices. Check that you are on the expected official site before entering identity, travel, or payment information.
If you use a third-party sign-in, payment, map, social-media, or messaging feature, that feature may collect information directly under its own terms. The details available to Sawari depend on the feature and the choices you make when using it.
Payments and security
Payment methods may be handled by the payment provider shown during the transaction. For Sawari payment-link transactions, full card numbers and security codes are not stored by us; limited details such as the card’s last four digits and selected payment method may be retained to identify and manage the transaction.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No website, database, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you suspect that a message or payment request claiming to be from Sawari is fraudulent.
Account security and fraud prevention
We may use booking, payment, device, and contact information to identify suspicious activity, protect customers and providers, and investigate a suspected unauthorized transaction. For example, a payment processor may flag a transaction for additional review or ask for verification before a ticket is issued. This review is intended to protect the transaction; it does not mean that a person has committed wrongdoing. We may pause a request while relevant information is checked and will communicate next steps where appropriate.
Where we use automated tools to detect unusual activity, the result may be reviewed with other information and, where appropriate, by a person. We do not claim that automated checks are always accurate. If a booking is delayed or declined following a check and you believe the result is mistaken, contact us with the booking reference so that the available information can be reviewed.
You can help protect your information by using a unique password for your email and travel accounts, keeping devices updated, and not sharing one-time banking codes or account passwords. Be cautious of messages asking you to move a conversation to an unfamiliar payment channel. Sawari will not ask you to send a card PIN or password to complete a refund or booking.
If you suspect a breach, lost device, or unauthorized access, contact us and the relevant payment provider promptly. Include enough information to identify the affected booking, but do not email full payment credentials. We will investigate the matter and take steps required by applicable law, which may include notifying affected people or authorities where legally required.
International processing and co-travellers
Travel bookings often involve providers and systems in countries other than the one where you live. Your information may therefore be transferred to or accessed in another country where a provider, payment processor, or technical service operates. We take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such processing as required by applicable law.
If you provide information about another traveller, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and will let them know that their information may be used and shared as described here. A provider may separately request information directly from that traveller.
Safeguards for information sent abroad
Travel services operate across borders, so information may be transmitted to a destination country, the country where a supplier is established, or the country where a technical service is hosted. Privacy laws and government access rules can differ between countries. A transfer may be necessary to issue a ticket, reserve a room, provide insurance, deliver an eSIM, process a payment, or answer a request connected with travel.
Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard, we take reasonable steps to use an appropriate legal or contractual mechanism and to limit the transfer to the information needed for the service. The precise safeguard depends on the organizations and countries involved. You may contact us for general information about the safeguards relevant to a particular booking, subject to security and confidentiality restrictions.
A provider that receives information directly from you may be responsible for its own international transfer. For example, an airline may route reservation data through systems in several regions. Review the provider’s own privacy notice for details about its processing and any choices it offers. Sawari cannot promise that every overseas authority or independent supplier will apply the same practices as a Bahrain-based business.
If you choose not to provide data required for an international booking, the provider may not be able to fulfil the service. We will explain the practical effect where that is known before you proceed. This does not remove any right or restriction on processing imposed by the applicable privacy law.
Travel documents and sensitive details
Passport, national identity, visa, health, accessibility, or dietary details can be particularly sensitive in a travel context. We ask for such information only when it is reasonably needed for the service requested, a provider requirement, safety planning, or a legal obligation. If a field is optional, you may choose not to provide it, although the provider may then be unable to issue or deliver the selected service.
Before sending a document copy, check that the request comes from Sawari or the provider handling your booking and that the requested information is relevant. Do not include unrelated documents or extra personal details. If you are unsure why a document is needed, ask us or the provider before submitting it. We do not encourage travellers to send identity documents through public social-media comments or an unverified messaging account.
Where travel information is passed to an airline, hotel, insurer, or other provider, that organization may retain it under its own legal, operational, and security requirements. Sawari’s retention period does not control a separate provider’s records. You can ask the provider directly about its retention and privacy practices, and you may also contact us about information that remains in Sawari’s own records.
Retention and your privacy rights
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to complete travel arrangements, support customers, handle disputes, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the information, service, and applicable requirements.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of information, object to or restrict certain processing, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights may have exceptions. We may verify your identity and retain information where necessary to complete a booking, meet a legal obligation, or establish or defend a claim.
To make a privacy request, email Tsawaritravelworld@gmail.com and describe the information or action you are asking about. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
How long different records may be kept
Booking and transaction records may need to be retained after travel ends to reconcile supplier payments, answer questions, process refunds, investigate disputes, and meet accounting or legal requirements. Customer-support messages may be kept with the relevant booking so that a later contact can be understood. Security records may be kept for a period appropriate to investigating misuse and protecting the website. These records do not all have the same retention period.
The time information remains in a provider’s system is determined by that provider and its obligations. A hotel may retain guest records under local rules; an airline may retain passenger data under aviation or security requirements; and a payment company may keep transaction data for financial compliance. Deleting information from a Sawari system does not necessarily delete a provider’s separate copy.
When information is no longer needed for a purpose and no legal or operational reason requires continued retention, we aim to delete it or remove direct identifiers where appropriate. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period under normal system processes before it is overwritten. Access to retained information is limited according to its business purpose.
If you request deletion, we will assess the request against the purposes and obligations that apply. We may explain that a specific record must be retained, for example to document a completed payment or defend a legal claim. Where only part of a record can be removed, we will consider the request for that part and explain the outcome where required.
Marketing preferences and data accuracy
We may use your contact details to send information about travel services or offers where permitted by law. If you no longer want promotional email, use the unsubscribe link in the message or contact us at Tsawaritravelworld@gmail.com. We will process the request within a reasonable period; you may still receive operational messages about bookings, payments, safety, or support because those messages are needed to manage your request.
Please tell us if your contact details or booking information change. Accurate information helps us send important notices and reduces the risk that a provider cannot locate or validate a reservation. You may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, subject to verification and any records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes.
If you believe we have used personal information in a way that concerns you, contact us and describe the issue. We will review the request and explain any steps available to address it under the law that applies to you.
Service messages and marketing choices
A travel booking can require time-sensitive communication. We may send a confirmation, payment status, ticket or voucher, supplier question, schedule update, cancellation response, or security notice using the contact information associated with the request. These messages are part of providing or supporting a service and are different from promotional messages. Keep access to the email address and phone number used for the booking until the journey and any open request are complete.
Where marketing is permitted, promotional messages may describe travel offers, new services, or destination information. The message may be sent by email or another channel if you provided that channel and the applicable rules allow it. You can opt out of promotional communications using the instructions included in the message or by contacting us. An unsubscribe request applies to marketing, not to essential messages about an active booking, a payment, a privacy request, or a service issue.
We may keep a limited record of an opt-out so that we can respect your choice in the future. If you use more than one email address or booking account, tell us which address should be removed from marketing. A change to marketing preferences may take a short period to reach every system used to send campaigns, but we will process the request as promptly as practicable.
If you receive a message that appears to be from Sawari but asks you to provide a password, one-time bank code, or payment to an unfamiliar account, do not reply or follow the link. Contact us through the details on our official website or booking confirmation. Forwarding or reporting the message may help us investigate potential impersonation, but remove unrelated sensitive information before sharing it.
Family bookings and information about minors
Travel bookings often include children, infants, or other people who do not directly interact with Sawari. A parent, guardian, or authorized lead traveller may provide their names, ages, travel-document details, or service preferences when needed for a ticket, room, activity, or insurance request. The adult arranging the booking should explain to other adult travellers how their information will be used and should provide a child’s information only when authorized and reasonably necessary for the trip.
The website and booking support are intended to be used by adults who can arrange travel or act with appropriate authority. We do not knowingly invite children to create an independent booking profile or submit personal information for unrelated marketing. If we learn that a child’s information was submitted without appropriate authority and is not required for a valid booking or legal purpose, we will assess how to correct or remove it as required by law.
A travel provider may need information about a minor to issue a ticket, confirm the relationship to an accompanying adult, meet border requirements, or provide a child-specific service. The provider may have its own consent forms, age limits, or rules for an unaccompanied minor. Sawari cannot determine whether a child meets a government or airline requirement; the responsible adult should verify current rules directly with the provider and relevant authority.
If you contact us to request access to or correction of information about a minor, we may ask you to verify your identity and authority to act for that child. This step helps prevent disclosure of a child’s travel details to an unauthorized person. We will consider the request under applicable law and may need to retain booking information for accounting, safety, or legal reasons even where a parent requests deletion.
Security incidents and privacy concerns
We maintain reasonable processes intended to detect, assess, and respond to suspected privacy or security incidents involving information under our control. An incident may include unauthorized access, accidental disclosure, loss of a device or record, or an attempt to interfere with a system. Our response may include limiting access, investigating what happened, securing affected systems, and coordinating with a relevant service provider or authority.
If an incident creates a legal notification duty, we will provide notice to affected people or authorities as required by the law that applies. The timing and content of a notice depend on the facts, the type of information involved, and legal requirements. We cannot promise that every attempted attack will be prevented, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risks and respond when an issue is identified.
If you believe your booking information has been exposed or misused, contact us with a description of what happened and the affected booking reference if available. Do not include passwords, full card numbers, or one-time codes. If the concern involves a payment instrument, contact the issuing bank or payment provider immediately as well. If the concern involves an airline, hotel, insurer, or other independent provider’s systems, notify that provider so it can investigate its records.
We may preserve relevant communications or transaction logs to understand an incident, meet a reporting obligation, or protect a legal claim. Access to these records is limited to people who need them for the investigation or response. Where details cannot be shared because doing so would expose another person’s information or compromise security, we will provide the information that can lawfully be disclosed.
Accuracy, objections and privacy complaints
We rely on travellers to provide accurate booking details, and we take reasonable steps to correct information when a verified error is reported. If a name, email, phone number, or itinerary detail is wrong, contact us promptly. A correction in Sawari’s record may need to be separately confirmed by the airline, hotel, or other provider. Changing a travel document or ticket can have a fee or may not be permitted after issue.
If you object to a particular use of your information or believe a request was not handled properly, contact us and identify the issue, the relevant booking or communication, and the outcome you seek. We will review the matter and explain whether we can change the processing, correct a record, or provide another remedy. A privacy objection does not automatically cancel a travel contract or erase records that must be kept by law.
Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to a data protection or consumer authority. The appropriate authority and procedure depend on your residence and the type of issue. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern, but doing so does not remove any right to contact an authority directly.
For requests concerning information held by an independent travel or payment provider, that organization may be the correct party to answer. We can identify the provider shown in your confirmation or help route a question where practicable, but we cannot guarantee another company’s response or decide how it should process data under its own obligations.
Making and tracking a privacy request
Send privacy requests to Tsawaritravelworld@gmail.com with the email address or phone number associated with your booking, the type of request, and enough detail to identify the relevant record. Do not include a full passport number or card number in the subject line. If you have a booking reference, include it because it can help us locate the information. If you are contacting us on behalf of someone else, explain your authority and provide supporting information only when requested through a secure channel.
We may ask follow-up questions to clarify what information you are seeking or to confirm whether a request applies to Sawari or a separate provider. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. Verification is intended to prevent someone else from accessing your travel or identity records; it should be proportionate to the sensitivity of the information requested.
We will acknowledge and respond within the time required by applicable law. If we cannot complete a request, or can only complete part of it, we will explain the reason and any review or complaint route available to you, subject to legal restrictions. There may be circumstances where we need to retain information or where a request is limited by another person’s rights or an active dispute.
If the request concerns data held by an airline, hotel, insurer, telecom company, or another independent provider, contact that organization directly as well. We can forward a request where appropriate, but we cannot exercise rights on behalf of a separate controller unless that provider has authorized us to do so.
A request to erase or restrict information may need to be balanced against a current booking, a refund investigation, a financial recordkeeping duty, or another person’s privacy. Where we cannot take the requested action in full, we will consider whether a narrower step is possible, such as correcting an error, limiting access, separating information from a marketing list, or explaining which record must be retained. We will not promise deletion from a provider’s independent systems when those systems are outside Sawari’s control.
If a request is urgent because a booking is imminent, include the departure date and a safe way to contact you. We will try to identify the appropriate team, but a privacy request is not a substitute for contacting an airline or hotel about immediate travel changes. Send only the minimum identifying details needed to locate the record, and do not include sensitive information unless we ask for it through a secure channel.
Cookies and contacting us
Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies to support page operation, preserve preferences, and help protect the site. Where enabled, analytics technologies may help us understand website use. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect some features.
Where applicable law requires consent for optional cookies or similar technologies, we will seek that consent through available website controls. For privacy questions or requests, email Tsawaritravelworld@gmail.com. We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change.
Cookies, analytics and browser choices
Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website can use to remember a session, maintain a security state, preserve preferences, or understand how pages are used. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, or logs generated by a browser. Essential technologies may be required for a page or form to function. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if enabled, may help measure visits or campaign performance.
The information associated with a cookie can include a random identifier, browser type, page visited, time of access, or a preference such as language. It should not be assumed that every cookie contains a name or booking reference. We seek consent for optional technologies where required by law and provide available controls through the site or browser settings. The controls offered may vary by browser and device.
You can usually view, block, or delete cookies using browser settings. Blocking an essential cookie may affect form submission, language preferences, security checks, or other site functions. Clearing cookies can also sign you out or remove saved preferences. A browser-level choice may not automatically apply to a separate mobile application or another device.
If a consent banner or preference tool is presented, it can be used to change eligible choices. A later change may not undo processing that occurred before the setting changed, but it can affect future optional technology use. Contact us if you have a privacy question about a cookie or tracking control that appears on the Sawari website.
Children and policy updates
Our booking services are intended to be arranged by an adult. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult may need to provide a child’s details when the child is included in a travel booking. We use those details only as reasonably needed to arrange or support the travel service and as permitted by law.
The current version and update date will appear on this page. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide notice where required by law. Booking support is available at +973 1727 6007 or through the contact details on your confirmation.
If this policy is made available in more than one language, we aim to keep the translations consistent and clear. If a translated explanation is unclear, contact us before sending information and we will try to clarify the relevant section. Any question about which legal wording applies will be handled according to the governing law and mandatory privacy rights applicable to the individual and the processing.
